GoBarack08 on Russian bombers land in Venezuela

The BBC recently reported that Russian bombers have landed in Venezuela. As you may recall, we don't exactly have a great relationship with their dictator- Hugo Chavez.

The US relationship with Russia has also soured recently with the whole Georgia/Russia conflict and seem to be distancing ourselves further and further from Russia.

Now with Russia putting bombers in Venezuela, it brings back memories of the Soviet placing missiles pointed towards the US. Russia is also pissed that the US is putting a missile defense system in its neighboring countries. I believe this is a direct retaliation to that action.

What do other people think about this?

Well considering that she hasn't done nearly as much as the Republicans would like you to think she has... probably not doing much of anything at the moment!

To hear Republicans say over and over again about how much experience she has is just a joke. Do these people ACTUALLY believe that?!

Now that Palin is running mate of McCain, how active is she in being the Governor of Alaska? I imagine it'd be hard to do all the responsibilities of a Governor AND run for VP of the United States at the same time.
