Both parties will: Keep troops in Iraq. Escalate troop levels in Afghanistan. Use our military to continue the Bin Laden witch hunt at tax payer expense. Support the instalation of a U.S. missile defense shield in Eastern Europe. I am tired of the two party system but I know that I have to educate myself regarding the issues as well as the candidates. I had the oppurtunity to see Barack Obama at a town hall in Denver before the convention. He got my attention immediately. He has an unbreakable faith in the American people. He seems to truly believe individuals coming together as one. He has the power of one motivating the masses for the good of the country. I truly believe in this candidate and it reinforces that belief when I read your article. It shows me that it is not about us against them. It is about WE THE PEOPLE standing up for our country and taking it back from lying, deceptive, greedy, self-absorbed politicians. I hope that other conservatives will be willing to open their minds to the possibilities of change.
