Palin and McCain are hypocrites and liars, as many of us know. What a shame if America doesn’t finally wake up to cynical lying that has become the way the Republican Party gains power and directs policy.

Well thank you NBC and please continue to follow the trail of lie and distortions from both John & Sarah. Finally some one in this media market is showing “guts” to challenge the Republicans because it’s so damn sickening listening to lies lies lies and more lies! Don’t let them get away with this!
I will make sure when I place my vote it will not be based upon empty words and cheap sleazy fear producing junk words!

I want to see a new America one that represents all people that are classified as American citizens from African Americans, Latino, Asians, Indians, Arabs, and every other minority group which are also Americans and don’t feel represented by Republicans who are classified as the “whites only club”

Anybody paying attention would have noted that she said “if you go back in history”, yet NBC chooses to focus on only recent vice presidents, which is not what she said. I saw a list the other day that had 10 or 12 vice presidents on it that had never met a foreign leader before they took office. So isn’t NBC really stretching it?

When I think of energy, I think of oil, as do most people. So when she said the 20% figure, I assumed she was talking about oil. I guess not everybody agrees, but it’s certainly an innocent remark, and hardly worth mentioning, considering NBC has only 22 minutes every evening to bring you the most important world news of the day.

I think a lot of people seeing this spot are thinking, jeez, aren’t they being way too tough on this lady?

The lady is obviously reaching. It’s not her that I am shocked at. It’s the American media and public for actually taking this move seriously! Makes me think a Brittany Spears pick would have blown it wide open for the Republicans. Hype works with Americans.

Good heavens. I am so tired of everyone, especially the media, picking apart the words and comments of both the Republican and the Democrate candidates. Could the media and candidates just focus on the issues instead of trying to “catch” someone who might say something that may be incorrect? Many people I know are sick of the “he said” and “she said” – give it a rest, please.

Considering that no-one knew anything about her except what she reveals about herself, EVERYTHING she says should be scrutinized. Otherwise, she can claim to be whatever she likes and no-one would know the difference.

If her campaign wants to claim she is ‘x’ but her own record shows she’s ‘y’ then that’s a big problem.

SARAH PALIN DISGUSTS ME! EVERY WORD THAT COMES OUT OF HER LYING MOUTH IS A LIE, UNTRUTH, MISLEADING. WHAT A SCUMBAG!

I think everyone is missing the big picture here. Some people are saying that the media is being to hard on Palin and that we should take everything she says at face value. So what are we suppose to believe when almost everything she has said is not true and if she is lying about small things like earmarks or how much oil her state produces what are the big things she’s lying about?
If Palin was a qualified as she say she is I would not mind trying hear her plan for America, but she is not. Not because she’s a woman or is froma small town. She lack the fundemental government experience it takes to run the most powerful nation inthe history of mankind.

It does not appear that her statement “I will cooperate fully with the investigation” is exactly true either.

As an American citizen I am very offended by the outright lies by the republican party. This was the most important decision by McBUSH as a candidate. His health should be an issue to all citizens. If this is the best person that he could come up with, than it does not say much for his decision making abilities. I see alot of comments that the media is to hard on PALIN, what a joke. I suppose the leaders of Iran, Russia, Venezuela, North Korea, will choose to take it easy on her. Everything about her is sketchy at best. This independent will be voting for OBAMA/BIDEN 08′

tjoiner- How in the world can you honestly manipulate this report. You must be a conservative because you sound like McBush trying to defend her. Please don’t be so gullable. This is the future of this country we are talking about. I know that as an independent I cannot afford to continue with what we’ve been through for the last 8yrs. It is time for the people to stand up and take our country back. Have faith, educate yourself, and believe in the people. GOD BLESS AMERICA!! VOTE!!! INDEPENDENT FOR OBAMA/BIDEN 08′!!!!!!!

    Just imagine!

If McCain/Palin wins, and McCain dies.

    She will be President.

The world will lose more respect for the USA. Palin will destroy this country.

The good thing, starting 2012 the Democrats and possibly Independent will rule USA for next generation or two.
History will look at the Republicans party like a footnote in history. Future generations will look down at the USA from 2000-2012 as the dark ages.

The GOP is in a very bad way. The last 8 years have been the worst in America’s history. The only thing McCain/Palin can pretend to do is promise change from the damage done by their party and lie, lie, lie.

This is all it took for me to see what was REALLY going on…..

CNN LIVE: Karl Rove (when he “thought” he was off air, and was speaking candidly with reporters on the day of Palin’s nomination
“The decision to nominate Sarah Palin was not a “governing decision” but rather a “political decision” designed to make inroads with “soft republicans” and those Hillary supporters, male or female that can be gotten by somebody who is a gun-toting hockey-playing woman”

All the rest is just insult to injury…

The only thing NBC proved (again) is the witch-hunt they’re on in support of the Obama Bin Liden ticket.
